Top Three Best Things About the New Dreamweaver

Ok folks, it’s finally here. Adobe recently released Dreamweaver CS4 – the latest version of their powerful and popular site-building tool. The new and improved Dreamweaver delivers significant changes to the 10-year old web design and development software.

The most obvious change to the program is Dreamweaver CS4’s new user interface. Although the changes mean long-time users will need to re-orientate themselves, the modifications are definitely an improvement.

The new interface drastically increases the usability of the program: users can now move quickly from one work environment to the next.

In addition to the great new user interface, this latest version also offers a bunch of new features aimed at the “professional” designer:

• Live View – Design web pages under real-world browser conditions while still retaining direct access to the code. Changes to the code are instantly reflected in the rendered display.

• Related Files and Code Navigator – Click any included file shown in the Related Files bar to see both its source in Code view and the parent page in Design view. The new Code Navigator feature shows you the CSS source code that affects your current selection and allows you to access it quickly.

• Adobe Photoshop Smart Objects – Insert any Adobe Photoshop PSD document in Dreamweaver to create an image Smart Object tightly linked to the source file. Make changes to the source image, and update your image in Dreamweaver without opening Photoshop.

We haven’t come close to listing all the many improvements of Dreamweaver CS4, but you can find out more by visiting Adobe’s site.

Azavar Helps Fight Cancer

Each year, Lee Jeans sponsors National Denim Day to raise money for the fight against cancer. Since its inception in 1996, Denim Day has raised more than $70 million for this extraordinary cause. This month, Azavar joins more than one million supporters in one of the largest fundraisers nationwide.

Here’s how Denim Day works: Lee Jeans invites companies to go casual for a cause, encouraging employees to wear jeans to work in exchange for a $5 contribution. Though Denim Day is a single-day event, we plan to continue the fundraising throughout October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We hope to raise a minimum of $5 per person. Let the fundraising begin!
